Australia batted first, and were immediately under immense pressure. A recovery by the second pair, then New Zealand fought back again. Australia settled in the last pair, but would not be satisfied with their score of 95. It's a score in the region where good fielding and bowling can defend it, but steady, consistent batting can run it down. New Zealand's innings is just beginning.

We could be in for another great game.

And that's just what we got . . . . again.

With a very mature, confident and consistent approach to their batting, New Zealand passed the Australian score in the 12th over. But the Australians fought back, and all through the last partnership were only 2 or 3 wickets away from victory. It wasn't until the 5th ball of the last over that New Zealand were safe.

New Zealand 19&Under Girls are in the Grand Final

Another ripper.

New Zealand now play South Africa in the Grand Final tomorrow. And with the score between these two one-all, the best could be coming up last.
