Hosts New Zealand through to the Grand Final later today against Australia.

This was a see-sawing game, with New Zealand able to come up with the big overs when it counted during South Africa's run chase. But South Africa kept themselves in the game throughout, setting their last pair the large but reachable target of 36 to win. But again, New Zealand found the right bowler for the moment, an a five-wicket 13th over, costing minus 20, effectively shut South Africa out of the game and the Final.

Farewell to my many, many South African friends, we will meet again after this week, and we'll keep in touch in the meantime. And thank you for the invite to go through your warm-ups with you yesterday--I'd forgotten I could still touch my toes :))))
